Can Fort Wilderness guests use Wilderness Lodge pool?

Unfortunately, guests will not have access to the pools at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. The list of activities at Fort Wilderness is pretty long, one of my Mouseketeers is obsessed with the Campfires and S'mores. Some nights there are even Movies Under the Stars.

You can absolutely have guests visit your campsite or cabin during your visit. Just give them your cabin or campsite information. When they arrive at the resort's front gate, the security guard will ask them for your information, and they will be good to go! There are so many great activities they can enjoy with you.

Disney Vacation Club Villas (DVC) provide spacious accommodations plus the comforts of home. Deluxe Studios (374 – 447 sq ft) at Disney's Polynesian Village, Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge and the Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian can fit up to five guests.

You are allowed to make a reservation at the Fort Wilderness Campsites for 30 consecutive days. You can then make another reservation to begin on the day of the check-out for the first reservation and do that for another 30 days. You can actually do this for as long as you wish.

There are tons of places on Fort Wilderness property where you can take the golf carts, but there is not a designated pathway for carts to get to Disney's Wilderness Lodge. There is a walking trail you can take that is about a mile long and is quite beautiful.

You can take the Watercraft service from Wilderness Lodge to the Magic Kingdom Park, then transfer to another boat that will take you to Fort Wilderness. Although you have to transfer, you will get extra time cruising around Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon while being out on the open water.

While all of those trees are perfect for the resort's theming, they do make it a bit hard to have a clear sightline to Magic Kingdom Park. You won't really be able to see fireworks from the common areas of Disney's Wilderness Lodge, however, some Guest rooms do have partial views of the fireworks.

Disney's Wilderness Lodge does not have access to the monorail system but does provide direct transportation to the Magic Kingdom via boat; the other theme parks are reached by bus. This is the least expensive hotel in the Magic Kingdom resort area, making it very popular with families.

These hotels are on the Magic Kingdom monorail loop – most of them anyway. Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Villas, and Disney's Fort Wilderness Cabins and Campsites are considered Magic Kingdom-area hotels but do not have monorail service. They do, however, have boat access to the park in addition to bus pickups.

In order to ensure that resort guests can enjoy their pool without overcrowding, Disney only allows guests staying at that resort to use the pool.

Please note that Disney Resort hotel pools are only available to Guests staying at the hotel and most require a MagicBand or room key card for access.

Unfortunately, only registered Guests are allowed to use the swimming pools at Disney Resort hotels. However, you are welcome to invite your friend to enjoy the resort grounds with you, have a meal in one of the restaurants located at the hotel, and even visit your Guest room.
