Can I drive my golf cart from Fort Wilderness to Wilderness Lodge?

There are tons of places on Fort Wilderness property where you can take the golf carts, but there is not a designated pathway for carts to get to Disney's Wilderness Lodge. There is a walking trail you can take that is about a mile long and is quite beautiful.
