The Swan and Dolphin do not provide Magic Bands. We purchased ours and had our admission and FastPasses loaded onto them in in the gift shop in the Dolphin.

Annual pass holders and resort guests get MagicBands for free. However, if you are staying off property you will have to pay to purchase a MagicBand.
Walt Disney World Resort has re-branded Extra Magic Hours. They are now known as Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. Guests of Walt Disney World Dolphin, Swan, and Swan Reserve hotels are invited to participate in Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Theme Park Hours.
You may buy them on your own but they are only good for getting in and out of the park and using fast passes while in the park. The swan and dolphin are not set up for magic bands for room entrance, crediting purchases to rooms or meal plans. We used our disney cards, for entrance to the parks and for fast passes.

If you stay at the Disney hotel often or visit the parks regularly — for example, if you're a Magic Key or Annual Pass holder — a MagicBand might be worth it. Families with young children also might find MagicBands convenient.

MagicBands, MagicMobile, Mobile Order — Disney World has a lot of ways to use technology in its parks. Today we'll be talking about MagicMobile, which lets your phone do almost anything your MagicBand, Admission Ticket, or Key to the World Card can do.
Disney Bands are given to guests who are either staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel or are an Annual Pass-holder. If you are staying outside of a Walt Disney World Resort you can still buy your band at the park.
In My Disney Experience, select “My Magic Bands and Cards”. Depending on availability, you may be able to purchase solid-colored regular MagicBands starting at only $10 each (the regular price is $19.99). But you have to order through the My Disney Experience app or site to get these discount Magic Bands.
What is this? Disney World Annual Passholders also no longer receive complimentary MagicBands. Instead, MagicBands are available 20%-50% off in the annual passholder's My Disney Experience account after the annual pass purchase and each renewal period.
RECEIVING YOUR MAGICBANDRemember to place your order at least 11 days before your arrival if you would like your MagicBands shipped to your home, and at least 6 days before your arrival to have them shipped to your resort hotel.
Before I leave for the airport on all of my visits to Walt Disney World Resort, I can guarantee you, my MagicBand of choice is secured on my wrist and set to go. I have personally never had an issue in any of my years. I walk straight through security with my MagicBand.
Epcot®: Walking: When exiting behind the Swan resort, bear to your right and walk to Disney's BoardWalk Resorts.Walk on the boardwalk until it ends and bear to the right until you reach Epcot. Walking time is approximately 10-15 minutes.
Can you see fireworks from the Swan and Dolphin? Yes. The hotels are located about midway between EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. All three hotels offer at least a few rooms with views of fireworks.
You may be hoppy to know that using a MagicBand is completely optional. You can continue to use your phone to scan your ticket into the park and to redeem your Lightning Lanes with Genie+. The MagicBand is simply a convenience that helps you avoid having to pull out your phone all the time.
