Technically, you cannot officially resell or transfer a Eurostar ticket to another person because the name on the ticket is non-changeable. Eurostar's 2026 terms and conditions state that only the person whose name is printed on the ticket is authorized to travel. While tickets are not always checked against ID at every gate, the risk of being denied boarding is high. However, most Eurostar fares—including Standard and Plus—are now fully exchangeable for a different date or time without a fee (you only pay the difference in fare) up until one hour before departure. If you can no longer travel, your best option is to exchange the ticket for a future date or, if you have a Premier ticket, request a refund. If you attempt to sell it privately, the buyer will be traveling under your name, which can lead to significant complications at the border security and passport control checkpoints.
