Can I take coffee on the Skyliner?

As you soar to your magical adventures on the Disney Skyliner, you are welcome to take your jet fuel (i.e. coffee!) along for the ride! There is a restriction on bringing alcoholic beverages on the Disney Skyliner, but your boost of morning Java will be just fine!

Yes, you are permitted to take coffee and other non-alcoholic beverages on the Disney Skyliner at Walt Disney World. In 2026, many guests enjoy grabbing a "java" from Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co. (located right at the Caribbean Beach station) or Le Petit Café at Disney's Riviera Resort before boarding their gondola. The only strict rule regarding beverages is that alcohol is not allowed on any form of Disney transportation, and glass containers are generally prohibited. Because the Skyliner cabins have passive ventilation and can sometimes experience sudden stops or swaying, it is highly recommended to use a secure, spill-proof lid on your coffee cup to avoid accidents. While you can technically eat and drink in the cabin, it is expected that you keep the area clean for the next guests. Having a hot cup of coffee while gliding over the treetops toward Epcot or Hollywood Studios is considered one of the most relaxing "commutes" in the world, provided you keep your beverage covered and disposal of your trash properly once you reach your destination station.
