Most of these rides allow you to safely store items that can fit in your pocket or small fanny pack that can tuck under your shirt. However, all other large items (purses, camera bags, backpacks, etc.) must go inside the ride locker.

The Fanny Pack or Belt BagA small belt bag (like this one) is a great middle of the road option if you don't want to be using lockers all day but also need to carry a few more things. Most of the rides in both parks will allow you to wear a small fanny pack around your waist on the rides.
Universal Orlando even mentions it on their very own website not to wear sandals. Sandals with the little plastic piece that goes between your toes can be really uncomfortable after a day of walking around a theme park. While on the subject of sandals, lets bring up Crocs.
