Can you build on Bois d Arc lake?

The North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) owns all lands along the Bois d'Arc Lake shoreline below the 541' mean sea level (MSL) elevation as well as some areas adjacent to the shoreline. Access to NTMWD-owned property and authorization for shoreline uses and improvements requires written approval from NTMWD.
