Can you enter Disneyland after you leave?

You are free to leave Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park and re-enter throughout the day. The only way you would not be able to reenter the theme parks is if they were at capacity which typically only happens around the holidays.

Yes, re-entry is permitted at both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure in 2026. If you have a valid theme park ticket and a reservation for that day, you can leave the park to rest at your hotel or dine in Downtown Disney and return later. To do so, you simply scan your ticket or MagicBand+ at the turnstiles upon your return. In 2026, Disney no longer uses the old-fashioned "hand stamps" for re-entry; instead, the system relies on the digital photo taken of you during your first entry of the day to verify your identity. If you have a Park Hopper ticket, you can switch between the two parks starting at 11:00 AM (current 2026 policy), provided you have already entered the first park for which you had a reservation. This flexibility is highly recommended for 2026 guests who want to escape the afternoon heat and return for the evening fireworks or "World of Color" nighttime spectaculars.
