Can you pay monthly for Disney keys?

No matter which key you choose, you'll be required to make a down payment at the time of purchase. Because the monthly payment option is only available to California Residents, you'll want to make sure you are logged in to your Disneyland Resort account prior to making the purchase.

As of 2026, the ability to pay monthly for a Disney Magic Key (the Disneyland Resort version of an annual pass) is strictly limited to California residents. This popular payment plan allows eligible guests to make a down payment at the time of purchase and then spread the remaining balance over 12 monthly payments with 0% interest. For non-California residents and international visitors, the Magic Key must be paid in full at the time of purchase. At Walt Disney World in Florida, a similar "Monthly Payment Program" exists for their Annual Passes, but it is likewise restricted to Florida residents only. Disney utilizes these residency requirements to verify eligibility via government-issued ID and billing addresses. If a resident's monthly payment fails, the pass is typically blocked immediately until the balance is settled. For those who do not qualify for the monthly plan, many travelers utilize third-party credit options or the Disney Visa Card, which sometimes offers promotional financing on Disney vacation purchases, though these are not direct "monthly keys" provided by the park itself.
