Can you take videos at Disney?

In the park rules, one of the listed Prohibited Activities is photography, videotaping or recording of any kind, or otherwise engaging in any activity, for unapproved commercial purposes. However, if the recording is done for personal reasons, it is absolutely acceptable.

Walt Disney World Resort actually banned filming on a few attractions. On Space Mountain and TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom, guests cannot film with their phone or any other loose article. If the guest does have the camera strapped to them with a chest mount or another mount, then filming is allowed.

Your photographer should also note the current restrictions on items permitted in the theme parks and be prepared to have their equipment screened at security checkpoints.
