Can you walk from Magic Kingdom to Wilderness Lodge?
While it seems as though you should be able to walk to the other Magic Kingdom resort hotels and perhaps even the Magic Kingdom itself, you can't. Transportation from the Wilderness Lodge is available through either the Boat Dock or the Bus Depot.

These hotels are on the Magic Kingdom monorail loop – most of them anyway. Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Villas, and Disney's Fort Wilderness Cabins and Campsites are considered Magic Kingdom-area hotels but do not have monorail service. They do, however, have boat access to the park in addition to bus pickups.

As much as these resorts have similar names and somewhat similar theming they are still very different. One is luxurious bringing you an upscale wilderness feel whereas the other brings you closer to nature and the outdoors. It really depends on what you are looking for with your Disney vacation.
Getting to the Parks from Wilderness LodgeTo get to three of the four theme parks, you'll be relying on Disney's bus transportation: Epcot — 10 - 15 minutes by bus. Hollywood Studios — 10-15 minutes by bus. Animal Kingdom — 15-20 minutes by bus.
Starting over in Magic Kingdom, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest average wait time with 66 minutes. Last week the average wait time was 68 minutes, so the time stayed pretty steady since then.
There are three bus stops: Bus Stop 1: Buses stop here if they're going to Magic Kingdom or Fort Wilderness. Bus Stop 2: Buses stop here if they're going to Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Blizzard Beach. Bus Stop 3: Buses stop here if they're going to Disney's Hollywood Studios, Downtown Disney, or Typhoon Lagoon.
You cannot walk to anywhere or anything from Wilderness lodge. They have a boat on property that will take you directly to Magic Kingdom. You can take the monorail from there to get to TTC and then to Epcot.

Our view off the balcony saw a small lake in front of the Cabins and off over the tree line a beautiful, unobstructed view of Cinderella's Castle, Space Mountain, Astro Orbiter and the Contemporary Resort.
