Do I need a mask to visit Pearl Harbor?

Masks are no longer required at Pearl Harbor National Memorial and Visitor Center. Beginning Saturday March 26, 2022 - the State of Hawaii is lifting the indoor mask requirements, we no longer require masks indoors at Pearl Harbor National Memorial, Visitor Center or the USS Arizona Memorial.

Dress Code Dress comfortably, but not so much that you risk offending anyone visiting Pearl Harbor. Show respect for the lives lost and the men and women who served by dressing modestly, which means bathing suits and profanity-laced t-shirts are not acceptable.

There is no entry fee for the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, and no ticket is required to see the museums. The USS Arizona Memorial program can be accessed by reservation or through our first come first served standby line. The walk in first come first served ticket distribution system has been discontinued.

The Pearl Harbor Visitor Center has reserved accessible parking in the front lot. The restrooms, movie theater, exhibit galleries, bookstore, information desk and drinking fountains, Navy shuttle boats, and USS Arizona Memorial are all fully-accessible to people in wheelchairs.

I'm not a history buff, but I could definitely appreciate the solemn sacrifice made on that day and the memorial is absolutely stunning. This is a must see on the island.

Just make sure you put everything in the trunk and don't take anything out of it while you are in the parking lot. As Dusty says, the lot at Pearl Harbor is probably the safest on the island. I believe the lot is also patrolled. Make sure you don't leave any valuables within sight in the car.
