Do you need a mask for Pearl Harbor tour?

Masks are no longer required at Pearl Harbor National Memorial and Visitor Center. Beginning Saturday March 26, 2022 - the State of Hawaii is lifting the indoor mask requirements, we no longer require masks indoors at Pearl Harbor National Memorial, Visitor Center or the USS Arizona Memorial.

Bags, packages, or containers that offer concealment, such as purses, handbags, backpacks, fanny packs, camera bags, diaper bags, luggage, etc. that exceed the measurements of 1.5 X 2.25 X 5.5, are not allowed at the monument.

There is no entry fee for the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, and no ticket is required to see the museums. The USS Arizona Memorial program can be accessed by reservation or through our first come first served standby line. The walk in first come first served ticket distribution system has been discontinued.

The morning is the best time to visit Pearl Harbor. The last tour at Pearl Harbor (with short documentary and boat ride to USS Arizona Memorial) is at 3:00 PM. From Oahu, all our tours depart in the morning and duration of tour range from 5 hours to 10 hours.

This all made sense for us because we wanted to spend the whole day there, but if you only have a couple hours definitely see the USS Arizona. I'm not a history buff, but I could definitely appreciate the solemn sacrifice made on that day and the memorial is absolutely stunning. This is a must see on the island.

You may bring your camera with you to Pearl Harbor. The only place where photography is limited is while traveling on the Admiral Clarey Bridge to Ford Island. In addition to taking photos, you may also use a video camera to capture videos.
