There are typically animals roaming around during all hours of the night and throughout the early morning. If you happen to not see them outside of your balcony, I suggest walking to another portion of the resort in order to view them.

What will stand out to you is the view! All you have to do is look outside your window or step outside on the balcony and you might see some giraffes or zebras walk by or wake up to any of the many tropical birds that call Animal Kingdom Lodge their home.
While the animals are roaming freely and therefore unpredictable, in my opinion, the best place for great views of giraffes is the Sunset Savanna at Kidani Village, so, I would suggest booking a stay in a Savanna View Villa at this fabulous Resort.
The walk from Jambo House to Kidani Village is super easy and will take about 10-15 minutes. The walking path is lush and pretty well shaded. And it's a great amenity for guests of Animal Kingdom Lodge who are staying in one building and want to check out the other.
The next phase of the ongoing refurbishment of Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village will begin on February 1, 2023. Last year, the Samawati Springs Pool and other areas underwent refurbishment. This next phase will be focused on the roof of the resort and is expected to last through September 2023.

Objectively, the best days to visit Animal Kingdom are weekdays. Across the board, average daily wait times are lower Monday through Friday than they are Saturday or Sunday.
The worst day of the week to visit has historically been Monday! Perhaps it's because people expect the weekends to be the busiest, so they go with a weekday instead. Nonetheless, Monday wait times might be a bit higher than you'd want.
