Does anyone live on just room enough island?

The lighthouse on Bishop Rock was automated in 1982, and Bishop Rock is no longer inhabited. Because of this, Just Enough Room Island is the world's smallest inhabited island.

Technically, no one resides there permanently in the sense of a year-round household, though the island is a privately owned property with a functional cottage. Located in the Thousand Islands chain on the St. Lawrence River in New York, Just Room Enough Island (also known as Hub Island) is famous for being the smallest inhabited island in the world. It was purchased by the Sizeland family in the 1950s, who built a small house that takes up nearly every square inch of the available dry land. They planted a tree and installed a couple of wrought-iron chairs on the tiny "beach" to create a holiday home. While the house is a private residence, it is mostly used as a weekend retreat or seasonal getaway rather than a primary address. Because the island is so small—roughly 3,300 square feet—the family’s attempt at privacy ironically backfired, as the quirkiness of a house sitting directly on the water's edge has made it one of the most photographed and famous tourist landmarks for boat tours passing through the region.
