Does Disney find lost items?

Walt Disney World Resort uses Chargerback to help track lost and found items. Here's how: Answer a short series of questions about your missing property and we'll help you locate it. Check your email for a notification with your Lost Item claim number.

How Long are Items Held at Lost & Found? According to Disney's website, items that are of higher value such as cameras, phones, jewelry, etc., are held for 90 days. Items that are of lesser value, such as sunglasses, toys, shirts, etc., are held for 30 days.

Once you've reported a lost or unclaimed item, you'll receive an email notification from Chargerback with your lost item report number. Chargerback will provide information from your report to the Disneyland Resort so that we can look for your item and return it to you if it is found.

Sometimes you can get lucky and find your item here. All lost items are turned in to the Guest Services at the front of each park. Rounds are made about every two hours and Cast Members collect lost items from every location, and they are transported to the front of the park to Guest Services.

Your item(s) will be available for seven (7) days at Lost and Found Pick-Up at the Disney Springs® Town Center Storage House, open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Disney Springs Town Center Storage House is located near Gate 1 of the Walt Disney World® Transportation Bus Stop.

Disneyland Lost Child Protocol If a Disney Cast Member encounters a lost child under the age of 11 years old, then they are escorted to the Baby Care Center (Disneyland) off the Central Hub at the end of Main Street or the Baby Care Center (Disney California Adventure) in the Pacific Wharf area of the park.
