Does my husband need his own Disney account?

If in-park planning tasks will be your responsibility, there is no need for him to create a separate account. Either way, he will have no problem maximizing the magic of his MagicBand+. My husband has his own My Disney Experience account, and we share planning responsibilities on our family trips.

To share your plans, find their name on your “My Family & Friends” list and click “Update” next to their name. You can select how you want to share your plans and photos with this person. Be sure to save your options. Both of you need to share plans with each other.

On your device, go to My Profile and choose Family & Friends List at the top. Scroll to the bottom of your list and select Add a Guest and then Scan their linking code. You'll be able to use your phone's camera to scan your wife's linking code. Once she accepts the invitation to connect, you should be all set.
