Does Tinker Bell fly every night at Disney World?

It was originally intended to be a special holiday show appearance, but after receiving such a positive response, Tink became a permanent fixture every night to signal the start of the Wishes fireworks show. But what exactly goes into this high-flying spectacle?

Since July of 1985, Tinker Bell has flown nearly every night from atop Cinderella Castle to a rooftop in Tomorrowland. It all depends on the weather. I know if there's rain/lightning/thunderstorm then Tink does not fly down. This was the case for a couple nights during our June stay in 04.
