Have The Little Mermaid rooms been refurbished?

Joshua, you are correct. The rooms in the Trinidad section of the resort have been recently renovated and are now themed to the Little Mermaid. I was able to tour one of these rooms since a friend was staying there and I was very impressed by the re-theming of this space.

The Little Mermaid Rooms are more of a standard hotel room size with either two queen beds or one king bed. The theming is very fun and over the top like you would expect from this resort. CHECK OUT OUR ROOM TOUR!

Adjoining rooms are available in all of the buildings. Connecting rooms (rooms with a door that connect two rooms to each other) are only available in the Little Mermaid buildings, but not in any of the family suite buildings (Lion King, Cars, and Finding Nemo).

It's a pretty good trek. It is a very scenic walk but if you have small children or someone that can not walk far distances, a stroller or wheel chair would be my recommendation. Thankfully we had a scooter already on order for my mom. Give yourselves at least 7-10 minutes to walk from your room to the bus or café.

Recommended. this ride is one of the most underrated rides in wdw, i really like it because of how relaxing and magical it is. The ursula animatronic in that ride is insane and honestly still holds up to this day compared to the other animatronics in the ride.
