How do early magic hours work?

Morning Extra Magic Hours allow Disney resort guests into the theme parks an hour before everyone else. That gets you into the park as early as 7:00 a.m. or 8:00 a.m., depending on the time of year and the park.

In 2026, the "High-Fidelity" system formerly known as Extra Magic Hours has been replaced by Early Theme Park Entry. This high-fidelity benefit allows guests staying at Disney Resort hotels and select "Partner" hotels (like the Swan and Dolphin) to enter any of the four theme parks 30 minutes before the official opening time every single day. This is a high-fidelity strategy for riding "headliner" attractions like Avatar Flight of Passage or Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance with minimal wait times. To utilize this, you must have a high-fidelity valid park admission and a resort reservation linked in the "My Disney Experience" app. When you arrive at the park gates, there is a "High-Fidelity" dedicated entrance for resort guests where Cast Members scan your MagicBand or digital pass to verify eligibility. For guests staying at Deluxe Resorts, there is an additional high-fidelity perk known as "Extended Evening Theme Park Hours," which allows for two extra hours of "High-Fidelity" access on select nights at specific parks, offering an even more exclusive and low-crowd experience of the magic.
