Canceling Within 48 Hours of Your Billing DateYou can cancel your membership directly from the Uber One section in the app by navigating to “Manage Membership,” then selecting “End Membership” and confirming your decision to cancel.
An Uber One membership is worth it if you spend over $9.99 in delivery fees on Uber Eats each month. Even if you don't use Uber Eats regularly, the monthly membership can still save you money if you spend at least $200 per month on Uber rides.
Uber One is a subscription option which gives you access to benefits such as savings on Uber and Uber Eats. There are monthly memberships available for $9.99 and annual memberships at $99.99.
You can purchase an Uber One membership directly in the app. In the Uber Eats app:Tap “Account” in the lower-right corner.Tap “Uber One” and follow the prompts to enroll.
We currently pre-authorize the amount of $1 with every trial sign up as a way to help us prevent fraudulent activity. But don't worry! This amount will be credited back to your account within a few days as it is only meant to authenticate your credit card at registration.
If you're on a free trial of Uber One and cancel your membership, then your membership benefits will end upon cancellation. For all other memberships, you'll have access to your membership benefits until the end of the current billing period.
Cancel the trip before five minutes have passed.In the event you need to cancel, do so in five minutes. If you wait too long, Uber will charge you a cancellation fee as you may have inconvenienced the driver. If you find you need to cancel, do so as quickly as possible to beat the fee.
If you cancel an Uber before Uber has assigned a driver to you, then you will not incur a cancellation fee. However, if the driver has been assigned and is already heading towards your pickup point, you may incur a cancellation fee similar to a regular ride.
Other fees and exclusions may apply. Membership will auto-renew every month (if you choose a monthly membership) or every year (if you choose an annual membership) beginning on your enrollment date, using your selected payment method.
