How do I get to Magic Kingdom preferred parking?

Because the parking lot for Magic Kingdom is actually about a mile away at the Transportation and Ticket Center, it is usually faster to use Disney's transportation. Guests that drive and park must first hop on the monorail or ferry in order to get to the front gates of Magic Kingdom.

To access Preferred Parking at the Magic Kingdom in 2026, you must first enter the main auto plaza located on World Drive. As you approach the toll booths, stay in the lanes marked for "General Admission" or look for the overhead digital signage indicating Preferred Parking availability. When you reach the Cast Member at the booth, you will simply request the Preferred option; in 2026, this typically costs $45 to $55 per day, depending on the season, which is roughly $20–$25 more than standard parking. Once you have paid, the Cast Member will provide you with a specific hanging tag or a digital validation and direct you to follow the blue line painted on the asphalt or follow specific directional arrows. Preferred Parking is located in the lots closest to the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), specifically in the "Jafar" or "Zazu" sections. This significantly reduces your walking distance to the security screening area and the monorail or ferry boat stations, allowing you to bypass the long tram lines that standard parking guests must often endure during peak morning rushes.
