How does Tron ride lock you in?

The TRON ride vehicles — or Lightcycles — are similar to a motorcycle. Like the vehicles on Avatar Flight of Passage in Animal Kingdom, you will lean forward when you board, with leg restraints that come down around the back of your calves. The back of the seat will come down to secure you in as well.

The initial launch provides riders with that feeling of their stomach being left behind them — and can definitely trigger motion sickness. The ride starts inside, and within the first five seconds, you're outside. If you're light sensitive, this could be a trigger as well if you ride during the day.
