How early can you check in for Disney cruise?

Online check-in is available for your sailing 30 days prior to the day you board the ship. We thought this was according to the time in the same time zone as your port of embarkation. However, it's not. It is at midnight EST, regardless of where you are or what timezone you're sailing from.

In 2026, your online check-in window for a Disney Cruise is determined by your Castaway Club status. Pearl members and Concierge guests can check in 40 days before sailing; Platinum at 38 days; Gold at 35 days; Silver at 33 days; and first-time cruisers at 30 days. A supportive peer "pro-tip": check-in opens at midnight EST on your designated day. You want to be online the second it opens to secure an early Port Arrival Time (PAT). Getting an early PAT (like 10:30 AM or 11:00 AM) allows you to board the ship earlier, meaning you can be eating lunch at Cabanas and riding the AquaDuck while others are still sitting in the terminal. You will need digital photos of your citizenship documents and a "security photo" of each family member ready to upload to complete the process.

It's Risky. The most obvious reason to not fly in on the same day as your cruise departing is simply that it's risky. If you have any sort of travel delay or cancellation, you will risk missing your cruise entirely. Of course, this is a costly mistake since you've already paid for your cruise in full at this point.
