How far is the walk from Paradise Pier to Disneyland entrance?

Both hotels are located west of Disneyland Drive. It's a two-minute walk between hotels, with Disneyland Hotel at the west end of the Downtown Disney District, and Paradise Pier slightly south of both landmarks. Disneyland Hotel and Paradise Pier are an 11-minute walk to the Esplanade to access both park entrances.

In 2026, the walk from the Pixar Place Hotel (formerly the Paradise Pier Hotel) to the main entrance of Disneyland and Disney California Adventure takes approximately 13 to 15 minutes. While the hotel is "on-property," it is located across Disneyland Drive, requiring guests to walk through the Downtown Disney District to reach the main gates. For 2026 guests, the "pro" hack is utilizing the exclusive entrance located directly across the street from the hotel, which leads straight into Disney California Adventure near the Goofy’s Sky School attraction; this entrance is only for Pixar Place guests and can trim the walk down to under 5 minutes. If your destination is Disneyland Park, however, you must still make the longer trek through Downtown Disney. In 2026, Disney has significantly improved the signage and the safety of the crosswalks along Disneyland Drive, making it a pleasant stroll. Still, compared to the Grand Californian or the Disneyland Hotel, Pixar Place remains the "farthest" of the three official resorts, a factor that is often reflected in its slightly more affordable nightly rates for families looking for the "on-site" experience in Anaheim.
