How intense is Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey?

Forbidden Journey is a stunning achievement and a must-see attraction. Thrill Scale (0 = Not Scary at All!, 10 = Yikes!): 5.5. There are lots of gotchas typical of dark rides and psychological thrills. This is an aggressive ride that simulates flying with sometimes startling vehicle movements.

Forbidden Journey does not technically go fast. This ride simulates soaring over the Hogwarts landscape at a thrilling speed. While you're not actually flying, the illusion is very convincing thanks to this attraction's innovative robotic arm swinging you up and down through the immersive scenes.

At a certain point, guests hear Hermione say “Over here!” She is then seen on a balcony with some floo powder. She then says “Alright, say 'Observatory', on three. One, two, three!”

Yes you can walk through without riding. There is so much to see and do in both parks for Harry Potter. They have so many little shops you can go in and check out what they have especially if you want to buy a wand. The only problem we had was a friend of mine could not get on the rides because she was a little to big.
