How many slides does Volcano Bay have?

A South Seas oasis located at the heart of Universal Orlando, Volcano Bay boasts more than 20 amazing Volcano Bay water slides, plus a winding river, wave pool, and so much more.

As of early 2026, Universal’s Volcano Bay features approximately 18 major attractions, with a total of 12 distinct water slide experiences that range from high-thrill plunges to family-style raft rides. The centerpiece is the Krakatau Aqua Coaster, which uses linear induction motors to propel rafts uphill. High-intensity slides include the Ko’okiri Body Plunge (a 125-foot drop through a trap door) and the Kala & Tai Nui Serpentine Body Slides. For group fun, the park offers the Honu ika Moana multi-passenger slides and the Puihi of the Maku Puihi Round Raft Rides. The park is designed with a "Virtual Line" system via the TapuTapu wearable, allowing you to hold your place for these 12 slides without standing in physical queues, which maximizes your time in the Waturi Beach wave pool or the Kopiko Wai Winding River between your slide "appointments."
