There are basically two options for what to do with your stuff at Volcano Bay. Get a locker, or find a place to store it. Personally, I think the lockers at Volcano Bay are a great option. You can rent them for the day and then access them whenever you need them.

Single-Time Use Lockers at Attractions Single-time use lockers are available at the attractions listed below. You are not allowed to bring in coolers, but you can bring in water bottles and food in plastic containers (no glass) if you have a food allergy. While the TapuTapu will help reduce the amount of time you spend in line, don't expect no lines.

TapuTapu is included with your Volcano Bay admission. As you enter the gates of the water park, you'll receive the wristband device. However, it should be noted that, unlike Disney's MagicBand, you will have to surrender your TapuTapu when you leave Volcano Bay for the day.

I wore my modest bathing suit that was a full shirt and a skirt with leggings and had not issues on any rides. All of it was swimsuit material. Swim shirts are not only allowed but VB sells a special VB branded one too.
