How much time do you need for Hollywood Studios?

To fully experience Disney's Hollywood Studios in 2026, most experts recommend a minimum of one full day, ideally starting at "rope drop" (park opening). Because the park is home to high-demand attractions like Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, Slinky Dog Dash, and Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, wait times can quickly exceed 90 minutes. If you are a fan of high-production shows like Fantasmic! and Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular, these can take up large blocks of your afternoon. For those who want a more relaxed pace or wish to re-ride favorites, a two-day strategy is often better. This allows you to focus on Galaxy’s Edge and Toy Story Land on separate mornings, taking advantage of lower early-morning crowds. If you only have half a day, you will almost certainly need to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass to bypass the longest lines and see the headliner attractions.

To that point, we do not recommend only a half-day at DHS if you're a first-timer. Although there are a number of time-consuming stage shows without much repeatability, we usually do an entire day at Disney's Hollywood Studios even as WDW diehards. Epcot is a lot more relaxed, theres a few good rides but there is the world showcase for you to explore there is also fireworks every night . I would go for HS but it would be very close. If Pixar is important definitely Hollywood Studios.
