How steep is the drop on Hulk?

Riders travel at an angle of 30 degrees through a 150-foot-long (46 m) tunnel, pulling 1 G.

The Incredible Hulk Coaster at Universal's Islands of Adventure features a dramatic initial plunge that is more about momentum than a vertical angle. After the high-speed tire-propelled launch through the gamma-ray tube, the train immediately enters a zero-G roll and then drops 105 feet (32 meters). While the drop isn't perfectly vertical (unlike some newer "dive" coasters), it is designed to maintain the high speed of 67 mph (108 km/h) achieved during the launch. The track descends at a steep angle toward the lagoon, providing an intense sensation of weightlessness before pulling riders into a massive cobra roll. In 2026, the ride remains a favorite for its "relentless" pacing; because the launch happens at an upward 30-degree incline, the subsequent 105-foot drop feels even more powerful as you transition from being pushed into your seat to a sudden freefall over the water.

Hagrids is super smooth, Hulk is intense but I didn't find it particularly jerky (YDS was obsessed so we rode it many many times). Hagrid, Veloci, Hippogryph, Nuthouse, Mummy, and Gringotts are all very smooth. Hulk's outer seats can be a little rough, depends on the wear of the wheels I've found.
