How to go from t1 to T2 in Singapore?

You can travel between Terminals 1, 2, and 3 via the complimentary Skytrain service in the transit area. If you're in the public area, you can go to and from Terminals 1 and 3 via the Skytrain. Take note that the Skytrain operates from 4:30am until 1:30am.

Transferring between Terminal 1 (T1) and Terminal 2 (T2) at Singapore Changi Airport is seamless and can be done either "landside" (before immigration) or "airside" (after immigration) using the free Skytrain service. The Skytrain is an automated people mover that runs frequently, with trains arriving every few minutes. The journey between T1 and T2 takes approximately 4 minutes. If you prefer to walk, the terminals are connected by an air-conditioned pedestrian bridge (mezzanine level) that offers great views of the airfield; walking takes about 10 to 15 minutes at a steady pace. In 2026, many passengers also choose to walk through Jewel Changi Airport, which is directly connected to T1. From the Jewel North Gateway, you can follow the clearly marked "Link Bridge" to reach T2. This walk through Jewel is highly recommended as it allows you to see the Rain Vortex waterfall. If you are in the transit area (airside) and have a tight connection, the Skytrain is the most efficient method. For those with heavy luggage on the landside, there are also frequent shuttle buses, but the Skytrain remains the primary and fastest link between the two terminal buildings.
