Should you buy an annual park pass? If you plan to visit multiple parks and/or federal lands within a year, you will most likely make your return on investment. If you only have time to visit one or two and don't plan to spend more than $80 on entrance fees, it might not be worth it.
Lifetime National Park Passes. The National Park Service offers a number of lifetime passes for free admission to national parks and other federal lands. They are available to anyone with a permanent disability, members of the military, veterans, Gold Star Families and anyone over 62 years old.

For $290,000, you could purchase the Lifetime AAirpass, which allowed unlimited first-class travel for the holder. An additional companion pass could also be added for $150,000 more.
This pass is non-transferable to another person. New in 2024, the Annual Pass will have one signature line for a single passholder. An unexpired 2023 Annual Pass with two signature lines will continue to allow up to two motorcycles if both riders have signed the pass.
