fares vary upto 25 euros one way,what you are better doing is getting a local bus one way which costs 2 euros each and runs every 20 mins til 10 pm and then once every hour til 7 in the morning and either get a taxi back or wait for the bus.

I got back early this morning from Costa Teguise and the short answer is, yes, it is a bit windy and as the previous reviewer has confirmed it is a wind-surfing resort.
