While the concept of a "shorter line" remains, the free paper tickets of the past are gone, replaced by a mobile-first, paid system within the Disneyland app. The only "free" way to skip a standard line now is through a Virtual Queue, which is used only for specific new attractions and requires a spot to be reserved at exactly 7:00 AM or 1:00 PM on the day of your visit.
