One of my favorite parks! Kings Dominion is one of my favorite places to go to with friends. Their rides and activities are just awesome. I can't say why these other reviews are terrible, but in my honest opinion, this place is just excellent.

Here are some tips to save money at King's Dominion:1. Bring your own water bottle. They allow you to bring in an empty water bottle and refill it at every soda/water fountain inside the park. This kept us hydrated, and we didn't spend money on water bottles.

The Best Way To Pay. At Kings Dominion, we want you to have an AMAZING time with your friends and family. That's why we've moved to all cashless payments throughout the park. Simply swipe or tap your credit card, debit card, or smart device with Apple Pay or Google Pay where you would normally use cash.
- Kings Island. Once you have paid to enter the park you have to get your hand stamped in the far exit line as you exit the park. This is the only way to get back into the park once you have paid or used your K.I. pass to enter the park.
It is very hard to sit on the 'available' rides, as the seats are VERY cramped. I had a difficult time sitting on the wooden coasters myself, and I'm fairly thin. A word to the wise: if you're a large person, be very wary about going to Kings Dominion, unless you enjoy sitting outside of the rides.
