Is pregnancy a disability at Disneyland?

Unfortunately, pregnancy is not deemed as a disability, and is not a part of the DAS program. However, what you can do is look into wheelchair or ECV scooter rentals to make travel throughout Disneyland Park and Disney's California Adventure Park easier for you.

At Disneyland Resort, pregnancy is not considered a disability that qualifies a guest for the Disability Access Service (DAS). In 2026, Disney's DAS policy is strictly reserved for guests who, due to a developmental disability such as autism or similar conditions, are unable to wait in a conventional queue for an extended period. For expectant mothers, Disney provides a different set of accommodations. Most queues are wheelchair accessible if you need to remain seated, and many attractions have "expectant mother" warnings due to physical intensity. If a pregnant guest has a specific medical complication that makes standing difficult, Disney suggests utilizing a manual wheelchair or an Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV). Additionally, the "Rider Switch" service can be used if you are traveling with a group and need to sit out a high-intensity ride while others enjoy it, allowing you to swap places without everyone waiting twice.

There are 2 ways to register for DAS: (1) pre-arrival via live video chat or (2) on-site at City Hall, Chamber of Commerce or a Guest Information location. We've introduced a new option to pre-register virtually with a Cast Member via live video chat between 2 to 30 days in advance of a park visit.

MORE DETAILS

Head to Guest Relations located near the entrance of the parks. A cast member will get you started with the registration process if DAS is deemed necessary. Your child or the person who needs the DAS card must be present with you. Once you are at Guest Relations, a cast member will determine your need for a DAS card.

Instead of waiting in line, the guest and their party use the DAS pass to schedule a return time to ride attractions. The guest may use the Lightning Lane entrance (the old FASTPASS Return entrance), the ride's exit or an alternate line, depending on the ride.

The DAS pass isn't an express pass like Genie + is, you will be given a return time based on the actual standby wait time. So you will need Genie + if you want to get on rides quicker. My friend qualifies for DAS and we did an October trip without it (the weekend of Halloween though) and it really wasn't great.
