Is Salou like Benidorm?

Personally i think that Salou is very much like the Old Town part of Benidorm. Quieter than the Brit quarter but still things to do and see. I am 80% certain that I will go for the avenida, just for a change of scenery more than anything.

Whilst I love Benidorm, Salou is much more chilled out and a bit more family orientated. Salou is more of a chill out holiday for us. Benidorm will be full of stags hens in April/May so Salou may be the better choice for your little one that time of year, although a few degrees cooler than the Costa Blanca.

Salou Nightlife Caters For Party Animals Nightlife during the summer, and in particularly in August, is hectic. The main 'going out' area is Carlos Buigas. It runs from the end of the beach and is lined with fun bars and clubs. This street and the immediate surrounding area is known locally as 'Slammers'.
