Is there express pass at Volcano Bay?

Express Passes Add a Universal Express Pass to your Volcano Bay ticket or 3-Park Annual Pass to SKIP THE VIRTUAL LINES at participating rides and attractions.

Yes, Universal’s Volcano Bay does offer a dedicated Express Pass system, though it functions slightly differently than the one found in the theme parks. Because the water park uses the TapuTapu wearable for virtual queuing, the Express Pass allows you to skip the "Virtual Line" entirely for participating attractions. There are two tiers available in 2026: the Universal Express Plus, which covers all participating attractions including the most popular ones like the Kala & Tai Nui Serpentine Body Slides and the Ko’okiri Body Plunge, and a standard version that excludes some of the top-tier slides. Prices are dynamic and fluctuate based on the date of your visit, often ranging from $19 to $150 per person. It is important to remember that Express Pass at Volcano Bay is a separate purchase and is not included as a perk for staying at Universal’s Premier hotels (like Portofino Bay or Hard Rock), which is a common point of confusion for many first-time visitors.
