What age is Test Track at Epcot?

Height Requirements: Children under the age of 7 cannot ride Test Track without being accompanied by an adult and a height restriction of 40 is in effect but parents may wish to use the rider switch option.

Test Track at EPCOT does not have a specific "age" requirement, but it does have a height requirement of 40 inches (102 cm). In terms of "age appropriateness," the ride is generally enjoyed by children as young as 4 to 6 years old who meet the height limit. It is not a traditional roller coaster; rather, it is a high-speed vehicle simulation. The "scariest" part is the outdoor speed loop where the car reaches 65 mph, making it the fastest ride at Walt Disney World. For younger children, the ride is often thrilling rather than frightening because it lacks steep drops or inversions. In 2026, the ride is in its "Version 3.0" phase, having recently undergone a major reimagining inspired by the original "World of Motion." This newest iteration focuses more on the "evolution of mobility" and features a sleeker, more futuristic aesthetic while maintaining the high-speed thrill. If you have a child who is tall enough but afraid of loud noises or fast cars, Disney’s "Rider Switch" service allows one parent to wait with the child while the other rides, then swap without waiting in line again.
