As of early 2026, the corporate landscape of the former Genting Hong Kong has stabilized under new management, primarily through StarDream Cruises and Resorts World Cruises. The flagship of the fleet is the Genting Dream, a massive 150,000-ton vessel that currently operates out of Singapore and Malaysia. While the original "Dream Cruises" brand faced a liquidation process in 2022, the "Genting" hospitality legacy continues through Resorts World Cruises, which was founded by Lim Kok Thay (the head of Genting Group). This new entity operates the Genting Dream and the Resorts World One. For 2026, they have unveiled an ambitious schedule of Southeast Asian itineraries, including "Mystical Bali" and "Amazing Thailand" cruises. While the luxury brand Crystal Cruises was sold to the A&K Travel Group and Star Cruises has largely been phased out, the Resorts World brand remains the primary successor to Genting's presence in the global cruise industry.
