What day does Disneyland not do fireworks?

The Disneyland fireworks schedule runs nightly during peak seasons (summer) and around the holidays. Off season, fireworks are Friday through Sunday. To ensure that there will be a fireworks show on your visit, it is always a good idea to check Disney's website, the Disney app or ask a Cast Member.

In early 2026, Disneyland Park does not typically perform fireworks on Monday through Thursday nights during the "off-peak" or "Value" seasons (such as late January, February, and early March). During these quieter weekdays, the park usually presents projections-only versions of its nighttime spectaculars—such as "Wondrous Journeys" or "Mickey’s Mix Magic"—to reduce noise and operational costs. Full pyrotechnic displays are generally reserved for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights, as well as major holiday periods (like Spring Break in late March, summer, and the Christmas season) when the park stays open later. For example, the current March 2026 schedule shows that while shows like "Shadows of Memory" and "Tapestry of Happiness" run daily, the actual "with Fireworks" designation is frequently missing from the Monday and Tuesday lineups. It is always vital to check the Disneyland App or the official "Day View" calendar exactly five days before your visit, as entertainment schedules are subject to last-minute changes due to wind conditions or technical refurbishments.

Firework shows happen nightly EXCEPT on nights when the park closes early (like for Mickey's-Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, or for select events like Cast Member appreciation nights). There really aren't any spots to eat and watch the fireworks at Magic Kingdom.
