What if I need a scooter at Disney World?

If Guests require assistance, Electric Conveyance Vehicles are available for rent at all Walt Disney World theme and water parks as well as Disney Springs. For more information, please contact Disability Services at (407) 560-2547 or email [email protected].

If you require a mobility scooter (Electric Conveyance Vehicle or ECV) at Walt Disney World in 2026, you have two primary options: renting directly from Disney or using a third-party vendor. Disney rentals are available at the entrance of each theme park and Disney Springs for approximately $50 per day plus a refundable deposit. These are first-come, first-served and cannot leave the park where they were rented. For more flexibility, third-party companies like Scootaround or Scootz offer rentals starting at roughly $25 to $35 per day. These can be delivered directly to your resort, allowing you to use the scooter on Disney transportation (buses, monorails, and boats) and in your hotel. Most Disney attractions are "scooter accessible," meaning you can drive through the queue, though some may require you to transfer to a wheelchair or the ride vehicle itself.

Sometimes known as ?cascading? to cast members, this is when the unloading process is acting slower than the loading process on an attraction. There is no reason to panic, this is normal, and it is something you have probably seen happen at Pirates of the Caribbean and on ?it's a small world?.
