For the safety and comfort of all guests, Walt Disney World maintains a strict list of prohibited items. As of 2026, firearms, ammunition, and weapons of any kind are strictly forbidden, as are self-defense items like pepper spray or pocket knives. In terms of guest gear, strollers larger than 31" wide and 52" long are banned, and stroller wagons (such as the Keenz or WonderFold) are completely prohibited. Selfie sticks, handheld extension poles, and drones are also on the "no-fly" list to prevent interference with rides and other guests. You cannot bring folding chairs, glass containers (except for baby food jars), or loose/dry ice; reusable ice packs are the recommended alternative. Smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes and vaping, is not permitted inside the parks and is restricted to designated areas at resort hotels. Additionally, guests ages 14 and older are prohibited from wearing costumes or masks (unless for medical reasons), and any clothing that drags on the ground is banned to prevent tripping hazards. Finally, "artificial noisemakers" like horns or whistles are not allowed to ensure the park's carefully curated "soundscape" is not disrupted.
