We hear all the time from people who heard that guests now have to pay for Disneyland rides on top of park admission, and that is not true. You definitely do not need a Park Hopper ticket at Disneyland, especially if this is your first visit and you are just getting to know and explore the parks. If you only have one or two days, you might want to spend a full day in each park. There is plenty to keep you busy in each park, especially Disneyland Park.
Disneyland is great for kids over the age of 7.So if you have 4 kids, 2 of which are under 7, you may have to watch which rides you can do. For my family, this meant that my oldest two (ages 9 and 10) could ride rides together while an adult rode with the younger kids (ages 2, 4, and 6).
