What is the Disney community?

These communities are envisioned as enriching enclaves conceived with the simple notion of bringing people together. Managed by Disney Cast Members who deliver legendary service and, of course, fun. No one else could bring to life such a vibrant mix of experiences and activities that will inspire new passions.



The "Disney community" is a broad and passionate global network of fans, employees ("Cast Members"), and enthusiasts who share a deep affinity for Disney's storytelling and theme parks. Culturally, it includes "Disney Adults," pin traders, and "bounding" enthusiasts who dress in outfits inspired by characters. In a more literal sense, Disney has expanded this concept into the real estate market with Storyliving by Disney. These are master-planned residential communities, such as Cotino in California and Asteria in North Carolina, designed by Disney Imagineers. These neighborhoods are managed by Disney Cast Members and offer a "club membership" that provides curated experiences, wellness programs, and themed events. The goal of these communities is to bring the "Disney touch" of legendary service and immersive storytelling into everyday life, creating a permanent environment for those who want to live within the "Disney bubble" long after their vacation at the theme parks has ended.
