What is the green line and white line in FlightAware?
Green is from a reported position.The white with the circle is an estimated position since the aircraft might be outside of the area that FA gets radar data for.

The dashed line is the flight's filed/planned route and is shown when we have that data available. That's the Wall to keep out the white-walkers. The dashed blue line is the intended flight plan route. The green line is where it actually went as tracked by reception of the ADS-B transmissions from the aircraft.

The position is calculated based on many different parameters and in most cases it's quite accurate, but for long flights the position can in worst cases be up to about 100 km (55 miles) off. In settings there is an option to set for how long time you want to see estimated aircraft on map.
