What is the new restaurant at Kings Island 2023?

Kings Island also will add Grain & Grill to the park's restaurant lineup in 2023. The new fast-casual dining location will feature Eastern European and Mediterranean flavors.

In 2023, Kings Island introduced Grain & Grill, a major new fast-casual dining location situated on International Street, adjacent to Starbucks and with a view of the Royal Fountain. This restaurant marked a significant shift in the park's culinary strategy, moving away from traditional burgers and fries toward a menu inspired by Eastern European and Mediterranean flavors. Led by Executive Chef Joseph Perez, the kitchen features "fire-grilled" and rotisserie meats, including Moroccan-spiced chicken, glazed pork shoulder, and shrimp skewers. Guests can pair these proteins with seasonal side dishes like roasted root vegetables or fresh salads. Grain & Grill was part of the park's broader "Adventure Port" expansion in 2023, which also included the Enrique’s quick-service Mexican restaurant and the Mercado portside bar. The emphasis at Grain & Grill is on "locally sourced" and "fresh" ingredients, catering to a growing demand for higher-quality, wholesome meals within the amusement park environment, and most entrees are included in the park's popular All-Season Dining plans.
