What is the old dinosaur ride at EPCOT?

The dinosaur segment of the now closed Ellen's Energy Adventure, at the Universe of Energy pavilion in Epcot at Walt Disney World features a family of Brontosaurus in a swamp, a Stegosaurus fighting an Allosaurus on an overhead cliff and many more.

The "old dinosaur ride" at EPCOT was the Universe of Energy, which featured a segment known as the "Primeval Diorama." Opening with the park in 1982, the attraction used massive "traveling theater" cars that moved guests through a prehistoric jungle filled with audio-animatronic dinosaurs, including a famous Brontosaurus and a battle between an Allosaurus and a Stegosaurus. In 1996, it was reimagined as Ellen's Energy Adventure, starring Ellen DeGeneres and Bill Nye, but it retained the original dinosaur diorama. The attraction officially closed in August 2017 to make way for the high-speed coaster Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. While the dinosaurs are gone from EPCOT, fans often note that the "Primeval Diorama" was actually a spiritual successor to the dinosaur scenes Disney created for the 1964-65 New York World's Fair.
