On a peak day you'll need Genie+ to experience the entire park. The final factor to highlight here is extra hours access—Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours. If you have access to those perks (and will use them), you're less likely to need Genie+.
Guests will have to really think about which attractions you would like to experience in this park. The attractions for Animal Kingdom Disney Genie+ that will save you the most time are generally Na'vi River Journey, DINOSAUR, Expedition Everest, Kali River Rapids, and Kilimanjaro Safaris.
There are currently more than 50 rides and attractions eligible for Disney Genie Plus reservations. Of those, there are 22 in Magic Kingdom, 11 in Epcot, 14 in Disney's Hollywood Studios, and 9 in Disney's Animal Kingdom. Eligibility is subject to change.
How many ride reservations can be made at a time with the Genie+ service? Guests are able to make one reservation at a time–with the ability to make a subsequent reservation immediately upon tapping into an attraction or pursuant to the 120 minute rule.
Can Genie+ sell out? Yes.It can. Although it isn't common, we've seen it happen a few times during busier times of the year (like over the holidays and Spring Break).
There are a total of 173 rides at Disney World Orlando. There are 41 rides at Magic Kingdom, 42 at Epcot, 17 at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and 46 at Animal Kingdom.
You'll only be able to use an attraction's Lightning Lane if you purchase Genie+ and reserve a time to visit that attraction in advance. On top of that, you can only book one Genie+ selection at a time, unless you fall under a specific rule. You can only use Genie+ on each attraction one time per day.
Magic Kingdom is the best park for buying Walt Disney World's Genie+ service. Hands down, we thought Avatar Flight of Passage was the best ride at Animal Kingdom — heck, it is definitely the best ride at Walt Disney World! It is no surprise this made it to the top of the list for our best rides at Disney for teens too! (Although we haven't had a chance to visit Galaxy's Edge yet.)
Thirty minutes before the official opening of Animal Kingdom, on-site guests will be allowed to enter the park. If you are on-site and are entering during Early Theme Park Entry, we recommend you go straight to Flight of Passage (and only if you can do so pretty speedily).
On average, Guests can enter 2 to 3 attractions or experiences per day using the Lightning Lane entrance if the first selection is made early in the day.
Is Disney Lightning Lane Worth it Conclusion. As a general rule of thumb we do find the Disney World Lightning Lane to be worth it if you can find a way to save 60 minutes per attraction at a cost of under $11.00 per attraction.
The Genie 120-minute rule says that you can make a new reservation at most 2 hours from when you made the last one, and this countdown timer doesn't change if you modify the reservation.
Use Genie+ how it works best for you.Use stacking to hold a later Genie+ reservation and continue making others that you'll use more rapidly throughout the day. Or use stacking to make multiple Genie+ reservations for later in the day, allowing you to skip lots of ride lines at once.
Let me describe the difference between Disney Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lanes. Disney Genie+ is a magical upgrade to your ticket that allows you to select Lightning Lane entrances at over 40 attractions throughout the theme parks. These Lightning Lane entrances allow you to skip the regular standby line.
