Disney's Hollywood Studios is the smallest of the four theme parks at somewhere around 1.4 miles. You'll log these miles by walking the park's perimeter down Hollywood Blvd to Sunset Blvd, Animation Courtyard, Pixar Place, Grand Avenue, over to Echo Lake, and back to the entrance.

Rise of the Resistance can be scary at times for kids, even ones who love Star Wars. The interactions with Kylo Ren, Stormtroopers, and the First Order can be a bit intimidating. The ride itself can also be too much for some children, since some areas of the ride are dark and there is even a drop.

The lowest wait times at Fantasyland rides will be in the first hour of the morning, making rope drop totally worth it. At rope drop time, we recommend going straight to Peter Pan, and you can probably finish it in 15-20 minutes total, including the actual ride time.

While we really, really think Genie+ is worth it at Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, we feel just as strongly as to it not being as necessary at Animal Kingdom and Epcot. But, while it isn't necessary, it can definitely make touring those 2 parks a lot, lot easier.

With a Disney base ticket, you're welcome to leave and re-enter the same theme park as many times as you like during the same day. So, if you want to visit the Magic Kingdom in the morning, go back to your hotel room for a nap, and return to the Magic Kingdom in the evening, then you do not need a Park Hopper ticket.
